Chelby Hinton Wins USAC East Coast Non-Winners Showdown at Bridgeport
Hinton took the lead on lap 6 for his first sprint car win.
Chelby Hinton won the 20-lap Malley Pool Water Non-Winners Showdown for the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars presented by Baer Den Farms on Friday, Oct. 30, at Bridgeport Motorsports Park in Swedesboro, N.J. Hinton started 3rd in the Hogue Racing Enterprises No. 39 and took the lead on lap 6.
The non-points event was open to drivers who had never won a USAC East Coast feature. It was Hinton’s first sprint car win. He was recently crowned USAC Silver Crown Max Papis Innovations Rookie of the Year.
