Logan Seavey announced Nov. 3 that he has made what he called a difficult decision to step away from his role with Abacus Racing, effective immediately, after four successful years together. In a statement released by Logan Seavey Racing, he said he is grateful for the opportunity to compete with the team and for everything they accomplished during their time together.

Seavey thanked Brent, John, Ken, Kirk, Daniel, Johnny, Ronnie, Trevor, Chad and every partner who contributed to the team. He said the hard work and support from those people did not go unnoticed and is what contributed to the team’s success.

Seavey said he does not have plans in place for 2027. He said he is looking forward to exploring his options and finding the right opportunity to continue competing at a high level next season.

Seavey thanked everyone who has supported him over the years and said he will share more details once his plans for 2027 are finalized.
